How to Edit an Asset Before Minting

When you put up an asset to be listed as NFT, it becomes difficult to edit it after putting it up on the NFT platform. However, NFTICALLY makes it flexible for the asset owners to edit a respective asset before finally minting it.
If you also have put up your art or any other digital asset on your NFT Store and are trying to make some changes to it before minting it, then this help guide is for you.
These step-by-step instructions will guide you through the process of editing an asset before putting it up for minting:

- For editing a particular asset, go to ‘My NFTs’ which you will find on the drop-down menu once clicked on the third icon from the top right.
(Step 1)
In case you have the URL of the particular asset with you, simply paste it into the search bar of your browser, hit enter and you will be directly taken to the asset page.

- On the NFT Items page, click on the ‘My NFTs’ tab. Once you click on it, you will find all your NFTs displayed on the page, and then choose the NFT that you want to edit before minting it.
(Step 2)

- Once you have clicked on a particular asset, you will be directed to the corresponding page of the asset. Now, you would be required to click on the edit option. It is the first icon among many which appear just beside the asset name.

- Upon hitting the edit icon, you will be directed to the Edit Asset page, where you can make the desired changes in the asset.

- The ‘Edit Asset’ page will enable you to make changes to various fields like the name of the asset, its properties, the category, its description, and much more.

- Once you have made all the required changes in the respective asset, hit the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page to complete the process.
Following these simple instructions, you can edit any asset in your collection. The only thing that must be noted is that an asset can be edited before it has been minted. After minting, no changes can be made to the asset.
